Hats, Surprises, and Handmade Fun at Otakat in Helmond ✨

We recently hosted our third-ever hat workshop at the Otakat Event in Helmond, and… wow, what a rollercoaster! We came fully stocked with hats, sparkly accessories, and all the supplies you could imagine to make the perfect DIY headpiece.

Before the event, we were on cloud nine—our workshop was fully booked, 12 registrations in total! But then… plot twist: only one person actually showed up. 😳

Luckily, the amazing event organizers swooped in like superheroes. They whipped up last-minute posters, printed them on the spot, and helped guide curious visitors our way. And guess what? By the end of the day, we had five people joining us, four of them totally spontaneous! 🎉

Seeing people dive into our ideas, mix, match, and get creative with hats was pure joy. It reminded us that handmade creativity has a magic all its own, sometimes showing up in the most unexpected ways.
